My name is Lorna Shakesheff, and following 17 years of experience in accounts departments, I took the plunge and opened my practice in 2016, from home, in Ledbury, Herefordshire.  


Like many families with young children, juggling the 9-5 around school holidays, sickness, and additional needs was extremely difficult.  I saw a way to replace my working hours while working flexibly and remotely.  I could attend the many medical appointments and school meetings (and a sports day here and there), without feeling pressured and guilty.


I soon developed a love for supporting business owners as a team member, not just the annual tax return.


Family time is spent walking our crazy dog (spaniel lover) through the lovely countryside surrounding Ledbury.  


I also love theatre trips with family and friends, visiting different countries, art, and horror movies!


After qualifying with the AAT, I gained my practising license with the IAB, and didn't look back!  The business is registered with the ICO and fully insured.  


We work with clients in the media, marketing, design, and architecture industries, and also help clients in the catering, retail, dance, fitness, medical, artist, and wedding industries, to name a few!


We also outsource to Accountants, locally and further away

I'm Holly, I'm new here and excited to be part of the LCS Bookkeeping team and support Lorna with all things bookkeeping and admin.


I qualified as a bookkeeper earlier this year and am currently taking my Level 4's. 


I live in a village in the south of England and have soon to be 6 twin boys.  I have gone about a career change from policing to bookkeeping, which i am enjoying.


Outside of work i am a busy mum to the boys who i love spending time with, along with my husband Ash. I enjoy the outdoors and completed the couch to 5k last year. I am partial to a decent cider and enjoy a catch up at the pub with friends also. It's all about balance 😀

Hi my name is Connor and I am an 18-year-old computing student at Herefordshire College.


When I am not at college (or learning to drive), I help Lorna with admin and data processing. I passed the IAB Level 1 Bookkeeping qualification in 2024 and became a Xero Certified Advisor just before my 16th birthday! In my spare time, I like gaming and travelling.
